” that’s cool” she smiled ” glad you went out, you deserve to get out once in a while.” she pulled over a stool and pulled herself up on it. “I’ll show you the baby stuff after. I can’t wait till he’s born though, these cravings and mood swings are killing me, and I’m sure I’m killing you. I was thinking we could start the nursary this weekend, painting and stuff you know? I just want everything ro be ready for him. ” she picked up a chocolate kiss out of the candy bowl on the counter and ate it.“hey baby.” she greeted him as she came up behind him. She leaned against the counter for support as she talked to him. ” how was work?” she smiled. ” I bought a few things for the baby today online. I’m pretty excited that he’ll be here soon.”
Paul leaned forward, kissing her. He listened to her. “Work was fun, as always, went out for drinks with some friends after. Cool, can’t wait to see the baby stuff.” He sat down in the floor, eating. He listened to her talk some more, zoning out.

Alona was still bed ridden from the accident. She was also going through the emotional stages of her pregnancy when she was all over the place. One minute she was happy, the next, crazy depressed and seconds later, angry. She had also spent most of the day attempting to clean the house, but when it got too much for her, decided to rest an put in a movie. Paul was working today and she missed him. Alona threw a bunch of ingrediants into the slow cooker so dinner would e ready when he got home.
